The QuitPack program can help you move on and become smoke-free.
This program is for smokers of all ages who live in the Yukon and who want to end their relationship with tobacco.
The QuitPack program consists of a two-hour Quit Smoking Information session, supportive telephone calls, monthly newsletters and a QuitPack.
We will call you when you enrol in the QuitPack program. During that call we will gather some initial information and make arrangements for you to attend a Quit Smoking Information Session.
At the Quit Smoking Information Session, you will receive a QuitPack that is filled with tools and strategies to keep your hands and mind busy, and help you put off having that next cigarette. Try them all, discover what works best for you and follow your progress in becoming smoke-free on the quit map.
We will call you two more times over the next six months to provide support, answer any questions you may have, or brainstorm solutions to problems or challenges you have encountered. We will also ask for your help in evaluating the QuitPack program.
Finally, we will send you monthly newsletters - by email or snail mail - that address specific topics of interest to smokers who are a various stages of becoming smoke-free.
